About This
- HOME GROWN Flower Seeds
- FLAWLESS FORM. The flower is convex and voluminous—semi-doubleness with 2-3 rows of petals creates a 3D structure. Symmetrical notched petals overlap like shingles, forming an ideal, slightly wavy bowl. The layering effect adds complexity to the perception—the flower looks richer and more elite.
- ETHEREAL ELEGANCE. The petals have a satin texture with a silky shimmer. In the sun, the flowers glow like a Japanese paper lantern with a lit candle inside. The center of the disk is densely packed with hundreds of tubular, velvety brownish-burgundy florets. The foliage is pinnately dissected—a filigree fineness of emerald lace.
- DICTATOR COLORS. The saturation is such that on a cloudy day, the flower is the sole source of light in the garden. Bright orange is the base tone of the mix. Red-orange is an intense scarlet with orange lighting from within. Golden-yellow with an orange center—the color of molten gold. Bicolor combinations: yellow with an orange ring, orange with red tips, scarlet with a gold base.554
- UP TO 300 FLOWERS PER BUSH. Buds open one after another, from the bottom of the stem upward. As many as open, just as many fade—a balance without program failures. A genetically built-in feature: as they fade, petals fall neatly away without leaving withered heads. Cosmos cleans up after itself, maintaining decor on autopilot.
- NON-STOP CONVEYOR. Bright Lights breaks records. Up to 5 months of show without slumps or dips. As some fall, others open, a third group gains color in buds, and a fourth forms new points. A single bush, without lodging, carries up to 40 inflorescences + up to 50 buds in various stages of development + dozens of forming buds at the ends of shoots.
- PRECISION AND RELIABILITY OF THE CYCLE. It reaches the apogee of decorativeness at the peak of the heat. Always at the maximum, it blooms so profusely that the foliage is hidden behind the flowers. Heat is not an enemy, but an ally and stimulant. The bush is covered in flowers until the first frosts. There is no effect of a "tired" plant in economy mode; there is an illusion of infinity.
- CONSTANT RENEWAL OF SHOOTS. A feature of this cosmos is multi-tiered branching. Lateral buds produce new shoots, forming a spreading hemispherical crown. The process repeats endlessly as long as conditions allow. It is a tsunami without retreat. MAGNET FOR THE WINGED. Fiery neon advertising, deep-seated nectaries, a 24/7 work schedule, and a daily menu update—everything for the convenience of VIP winged clients: butterflies, bumblebees, hummingbirds, and occasionally bees.
- HUNDREDS OF CUT STEMS PER SEASON. Thin but resilient stems of optimal length, an airy haze of foliage against a backdrop of soaring bright disks, and fresh durability for weeks in a vase make them ideal for a bouquet. Dozens of stems per bush—the more you cut, the more profusely it blooms. The bush holds like bamboo—it bends but does not break—from start to finish.
- FOR PRAIRIE-STYLE GARDENS. Any soil except swampland. From the Canadian prairies to the tropics of Florida. It breaks into thousands of fiery disks—visually, it can consume the entire space with the aggressiveness of its color. Also suitable as a container culture for patios and terraces.
