It helps reduce standing-water load on pool covers and is also suitable for temporary drainage around pools and hot tubs. Actual flow decreases with hose length, lift height and fittings.
• STABLE STRAINER BASE: The removable polypropylene base keeps the pump upright and helps block leaves and larger debris from reaching the intake. Do not operate the pump if the intake or base is buried under heavy debris.
• 25 FT CORD AND PLACEMENT ROPE: A 25-foot power cord provides extended reach across pool decks and yards, while the included nylon rope helps position and retrieve the 7.2-pound pump. Keep the plug, outlet and extension connections dry, and move the pump using the rope or pump handle—never pull or lift it by the power cord.
• CHECK-VALVE HOSE ADAPTER: The included adapter supports compatible 3/4-inch garden hoses and 1-1/4-inch drain hoses; hoses are not included. A built-in check valve helps reduce water backflow after shutdown, while the anti-airlock opening helps release trapped air for steadier pumping. Use the largest practical hose diameter and shortest routing for better flow.
