PIPE CONNECTION: The 2 x 2.5 in tailpiece accepts 2 in Schedule 40 pipe directly, while 2.5 in Schedule 40 pipe requires a separate 2.5 in coupler, not included

INSTALLATION: Shut off power and isolate the plumbing, slide the nut onto the pipe, glue the tailpiece and allow it to cure completely, seat the O-ring, then hand-tighten the union nut
